LOS ANGELES-Motorola Inc. and Rock the Vote have teamed to help wireless users decide on their favorite political candidate.
The Mobile Find Your Candidate application provides a questionnaire that matches the user with the appropriate candidate. Questions focus on social and political issues, such as war, taxes and the environment.
“Find Your Candidate is an excellent application to help inform and mobilize the young wireless generation as they make their choice for the next president of the United States,” said Kathleen Finato, director of marketing for Motorola. “The application provides individuals with a new vehicle to obtain and interpret valuable information to encourage active participation in our country’s election process.”
Users can opt in to the program by visiting www.rockthevote.com/mobile or by texting ROCKME from their handsets to RTMVO. The service is available across carriers, but only on certain Motorola phones.
