SAN JOSE, Calif.-Lumileds Lighting has introduced new camera-phone flashes that produce more light, allowing cell-phone users to take higher quality pictures in low-light environments.
Lumileds said the its Luxeon Flash LEDs use light-emitting diodes to create a flash that is up to 12 times brighter than what is currently available on current devices.
