MINNEAPOLIS-TestQuest Inc. this week plans to release a new solution to automate the testing of Palm OS Garnet devices and Palm OS 4 devices with the TestQuest Pro test automation tool.
TestQuest Pro connects to multiple mobile devices, PCs, base-station emulators and other test equipment to act like a virtual user, controlling and verifying the mobile device’s operation. The company said its solutions are currently used by five of the world’s largest handset manufacturers and three top wireless operators.
“We believe TestQuest Pro will enable the large community of enterprises, developers, manufacturers, wireless operators and infrastructure and middleware providers, who together make up the Palm Powered economy, to reap the rewards of test automation,” said David Fedor, director of developer services at PalmSource. “TestQuest’s Test Automation Solution for Palm OS is designed to speed innovation in both applications and devices and accelerate product time to market with fewer problems.”
