ESPN teams with BASS on mobile fishing game

BRISTOL, Conn.-ESPN has teamed with BASS, the world’s largest fishing organization, to offer a new mobile fishing game.

Developed by Dwango North America, Bassmaster Legendary Lunkers features real-time weather conditions and a “cast and wait” system allowing players to cast a line and leave their phones unattended. A bite will trigger a ring, calling players back to the game.

“We’re extremely pleased that Bassmaster Legendary Lunkers offers such an authentic and entertaining mobile gaming experience for bass-fishing enthusiasts,” said ESPN Senior Vice President Manish Jha. “BASS serves the 28 million recreational bass anglers nationwide. Through Bassmaster Mobile we can connect with those fans, giving them access to their sport any place, anytime.”
