SAN FRANCISCO-Football fans can get short message service updates on their handsets via a new offering from ILoop Mobile Inc.
National Football League followers can register for final game scores, quarterly updates on post-season matchups, and weekly injury and insider notes throughout the season by test messaging “PFB” to 47467. Fans of the college game can get finals on games involving the top-10 Bowl Champion Series teams, as well as quarterly bowl-game updates by sending “CFB” to 47467.
Subscribers will be charged 30 cents for each message received and may opt out by sending “stop” to the same number.
