NEW YORK-American Greetings Corp. subsidiary AG Interactive said it will partner with music television network Fuse to develop and market interactive music applications though computers, mobile phones and other communications tools.
The companies hope to build on applications like Fuse’s “Daily Download” television show, where viewers are given a special word of the day they can enter on Fuse’s Web site to receive free music downloads. Mobile content, such as ring tones and wallpaper, will soon be offered through the site, as well.
Music video dedications, photo blogs, text messaging, voting and polling, and local concert and event updates are all potential applications, the companies said.
