CHATSWORTH, Calif.-Wireless users gave Sanyo top marks in J.D. Power and Associates’ third annual “2004 U.S. Wireless Mobile Phone Evaluation Study.” The report surveyed more than 13,000 wireless users on phone features, durability, physical design, battery function and operation.
“Sanyo’s continued success is based on our ability to deliver on those factors time and again that are most important to our customers,” said Atsushi Kodera, group vice president and general manager of Sanyo Fisher Co.’s Wireless Communications Division. “As a result, we consistently performed significantly above the industry average across all five factors.”
Sprint Corp. is the only carrier offering Sanyo phones in the United States. Indeed, the carrier recently unveiled its newest Sanyo phone, the MM-7400, which supports streaming video as well as video messaging.
