VANCOUVER, British Columbia-Mobile Operandi Communications Corp. released its mophone version 3.0, a free entertainment content service for mobile-phone users.
Mophone gives multimedia-capable mobile-phone users personal Web pages and storage areas where pictures and ringtones can be managed, stored and viewed on their phones. The service includes an interactive image of users’ phone models, which allows them to view how their content will appear on their phones. Mophone currently supports more than 130 phone models.
“With mophone, users can quickly personalize their mobile phones with the content they want without the need for cables, infrared, Bluetooth, or software downloads. They also get three free ringtones and three free wallpapers with registration to help get them started,” said Patrick Payne, chief executive officer of Mobile Operandi.
