SALT LAKE CITY-Wireless users with Palm-powered devices can check Overstock.com Auctions with a new product from mobile software developer Abidia.
O-Anywhere allows users to bid, search, browse and monitor live auctions from the Internet portal. Abidia said the service will eventually support Windows Mobile-enabled Pocket PCs, smart phones and BlackBerrys, as well as J2ME-powered mobile phones.
The application sells for $4 a month or $30 for a one-year subscription.
“Integrating our technologies builds upon Overstock.com Auctions’ innovative auction platform,” said Mike Burch, Abidia’s chief technology officer.
