SUNNYVALE, Calif.-Proxim Corp. said it has been selected by EZ Wireless to deploy its Wi-Fi and broadband wireless equipment for public safety in nine cities in northeastern Oregon and Washington state.
The solutions will bring new public safety and emergency response applications to the region’s police, fire and medical first responders, said Proxim.
The company said its product is known as Tsunami Broadband Wireless Access Systems and ORiNOCO Wireless Access Points.
EZ Wireless designed the network.
