MONTREAL-Fonoinfo released its new Commander product, which the company said is a complete virus detection, prevention and disinfection solution for mobile phones.
“The threat of mobile viruses is real, it’s here and it’s spreading very rapidly,” said Ayad Sabbagh, the company’s chief executive officer. “Commander’s free virus scanner allows users to scan their handsets for the Skulls Trojan, Lasco and Cabir worms as well as other threats and subsequently take action to disinfect and protect their mobile handsets.”
Fonoinfo said its Commander product protects mobile phones from threats in real-time by blocking any attempt by viruses, worms and other malicious elements from installing themselves on the mobile phone.
