LONDON-Celltick Technologies raised $11 million in series C financing, bringing the company’s total funds raised to more than $20 million.
Celltick’s primary product, LiveScreen, displays free, silent messages on mobile handsets while they are in idle mode, similar to a screen saver. The messages can be news headlines, sports reports, traffic updates and multi-user games. Users can click on the messages for further information, said the company.
The round was led by Amadeus Capital Partners. Jerusalem Venture Partners, an existing investor, also made a new investment.
