NEW ORLEANS-VeriSign Inc. said its push-to-talk service is now available for evaluation by North American and Latin American CDMA operators.
“Consumers and enterprise users are demanding instant and secure access to voice and content via their wireless devices,” said Vernon Irvin, executive vice president of VeriSign. “Service providers can benefit from the associated increase in revenue opportunities by introducing these new innovative services much faster and in a more cost-effective manner than deploying an in-house solution.”
VeriSign also launched its Billing & Operations Support Solution, which allows wireless delivery of next-generation communication, commerce and content services and accelerates delivery of new data-rich mobile services such as mobile-commerce, said the company.
The product offers real-time event processing, ready-to-sell content, secure commerce and integration of payment methods.
