AUSTIN, Texas-Wireless Valley Communications said it has enhanced its SitePlanner and EnterprisePlanner products.
The new functionality adds cdmaOne, W-CDMA, UMTS and CDMA2000 third-generation capabilities. Key new features include the ability to simulate CDMA signal quality, mobile traffic, cell breathing, uplink and downlink connections, power control and pilot pollution; model pilot, traffic and overhead channels; perform network performance visualizations; and model the interaction between indoor and outdoor networks to create optimized handoff regions.
The SitePlanner product allows companies to design, measure and manage all of their indoor and campuswide wireless networks. EnterprisePlanner provides the same functions with the addition of wireless local area network design capability.
