ROCHESTER, N.Y.-Performance Technologies said Pioneer Cellular has selected its SEGway 6200 Mini-STP product to consolidate SS7 traffic on its wireless network.
Pioneer Cellular provides service in Oklahoma.
The SEGway Mini-STP allows Pioneer to provide long-distance telecommunications and expanded user services for residential and business customers without incurring additional costs, said Performance. The product provides a scaled alternative to traditional STPs, which can be prohibitively expensive for smaller operators, said the company.

Without the SEGway Mini-STP, we would not be able to offer customers the value-add services we are offering today.”
