Nokia expands packet core network in Indonesia

ESPOO, Finland-Nokia Corp. has signed an agreement with leading Indonesian operator Telkomsel to expand its packet core network in Indonesia. The value of the contract was not disclosed.

Under the contract, Nokia is supplying a Third Generation Partnership Project packet core network solution and related services including implementation, project management, planning and optimization, and a network and service management system. Deliveries have already begun, and implementation is ongoing.

Nokia said it has approximately 100 packet core references globally.
