Itronix introduces mobile tablet PC

SPOKANE, Wash.-Itronix Corp. introduced its Duo-Touch Tablet PC, a next-generation wireless slate tablet PC designed for mobile workers in the telecom, utilities, government and insurance industries.

The product includes Intel Corp.’s Pentium M processor 733, integrated global positioning system, increased memory, a brighter display and a more rugged case, said the company. It also includes a dual-mode touch panel that allows a passive touchscreen as well as a standard active touchscreen.

The product, which is suggested to retail for $3,200, will be available for delivery this month.
