BELLEVUE, Wash.-T-Mobile USA Inc. said it has reached an agreement with spokeswoman Catherine Zeta-Jones extending their commercial advertising relationship. Terms of the multi-year extension were not released, though T-Mobile USA said Zeta-Jones will continue to appear in television, broadcast and online advertising, as well as in retail collateral.
Zeta-Jones has been T-Mobile USA’s spokeswoman since 2002 when the carrier launched its new T-Mobile brand name in the U.S. market following its acquisition by Deutsche Telekom AG. The carrier previously operated under the VoiceStream Wireless Corp. brand and employed Jamie Lee Curtis as its spokeswoman.
