BELLEVUE, Wash.-Wireless carrier Western Wireless Corp. has chosen an electronic lending services system from CGI-AMS Inc. Western Wireless will use CGI-AMS’ NetCredit system to improve the efficiency of customer acquisitions.
With the system, Western Wireless said it will be able to add new qualified customers more quickly and less expensively than with its current system. The project encompasses hardware, software and services for implementing and training for the NetCredit solution. The project is scheduled to begin July 16.
NetCredit provides real-time online access to several electronic credit services, allowing carriers quickly to assess and analyze customer risk. CGI-AMS is a wholly owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group Inc.
