CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Adult video distributor Xobile is delivering two-minute clips of streaming video to U.S. subscribers on third-generation networks, the company announced Thursday.
Xobile said it is consistently streaming clips from nearly 5,000 adult films at 124 kilobits per second. The company is the mobile arm of Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network, a video-on-demand provider with distribution rights to more than 41,000 full-length adult films.
“We have demonstrated that we’re not only the first in the U.S., but we’re the fastest,” said Xobile chief Harvey Kaplan. “We’re keeping pace with the highest speeds at which American telecommunication networks are providing service to their customers.”
