TAMPA, Fla.-Syniverse Technologies Inc. landed a three-year contract with Cingular Wireless L.L.C. to provide clearing and settlement services for roaming partnerships beginning in January 2006.
Syniverse said it will provide Cingular with its ACCESS service, which it said simplifies the exchange of billing data between roaming partners with Syniverse acting as the single point of contact. The company said the results are streamlined processing of roamer billing data, a single source of information regarding roaming customers and detailed reporting to calculate the financial position between roaming partners.
Syniverse added that it provides clearinghouse services to more than 330 telecommunications carriers around the world.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Earlier this month, Sprint Nextel Corp. renewed its contract with Syniverse.
