PLAINFIELD, Ind.-Brightpoint Inc. announced two deals this week.
The company’s Brightpoint North America L.P. subsidiary entered an agreement with Samsung Telecommunications America L.P. that calls for Brightpoint to distribute a range of Samsung CDMA and GSM devices and accessories to operators and retail customers in the United States.
Separately, Brightpoint North America entered a master services agreement with Microsoft Corp. that calls for Brightpoint to prepare and configure demo kits and trial devices in an effort to help the Microsoft sales channel more effectively demonstrate and conduct evaluations using Windows Mobile software for potential customers.
The agreement will be serviced by Brightpoint’s Advanced Wireless Services team and focus on Microsoft’s strategic initiatives in the Converged Smart Mobile and Pocket PC space, said the company.
