In the “Nokia pushes into wireless e-mail” story on page 3 of the Sept. 19 issue of RCR Wireless News, the nature of Seven’s offerings was incorrectly stated. Seven’s technology can be implemented behind a firewall as well as on a hosted basis. The company does not use a store-and-forward model.
In the “Pay phones Marrying the handset and wallet” story on page 14 of the Sept. 12 issue of RCR Wireless News, Oliver Steeley’s position at MasterCard was incorrectly stated. Steeley does not run MasterCard’s PayPass program. The MasterCard representative in charge of PayPass is Art Kranzley, the company’s executive vice president of advanced payments.
