KINGSTON, Jamaica-Cable & Wireless said it will offer exclusive Motorola Inc. handsets pre-loaded with content from Tempo via its Bmobile service in the Caribbean.
Tempo is the new MTV network scheduled to launch in the Caribbean next month. C&W will offer the Motorola V186 handset throughout the Caribbean and the v172 in Jamaica.
Tempo content includes wallpapers and ringtones.
“This is an exclusive product that provides access to content representing some of the hottest Caribbean artists-both legendary, established artists, such as Jimmy Cliff, and rising stars like H2O Phlo,” said Rachelle Franklin, senior vice president of corporate marketing at C&W Caribbean. “Our content launch is timed to complement the launch of Tempo. As the Tempo channel and programming grows, so will the content offerings to Bmobile customers,” continued Franklin.
