MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-Ditech Communications Corp. announced its Voice Quality Evaluation Program, which the company said is a network-advisory program that allows carriers to evaluate and repair network problems that affect sound quality.
The program relies on Ditech’s BVP-Flex platform to continually monitor select areas of a live mobile network. The product measures acoustic and hybrid echo. Ditech said its voice-quality experts then work with customer engineering teams to assess and pinpoint problem areas, and recommend solutions to improve the network.
