CAMBRIDGE, England-Ubisense announced it picked up 60 new customers for its high-accuracy indoor location technology in the nine months since the Federal Communications Commission approved the company’s ulta-wideband solution.
The company said its UWB sensor-driven technology delivers real-time data, reporting people and asset locations within one foot of accuracy, and offers three-dimension viewing. Companies generally use the data to improve processes, space utilization and security.

“Demand for Ubisense is growing even faster than we anticipated and the market need continues to expand,” said Richard Green, chief executive of Ubisense. “Our focus now is to extend our software platform to deliver greater value to our customers and to build a thriving partner network to further address the many different industries and uses for which our technology is suitable.”
