CHELMSFORD, Mass.-SavaJe Technologies announced two key executive appointments this week. The company named Gregory Koss as its new chief executive officer and William Sorenson as its new chief financial officer.
Koss’ experience includes executive-level positions at networking and communications companies, including Internet Photonics and Sonoma Systems. He also worked as a consultant for private equity firm Warburg Pincus and is chairman of Reef Point Systems.
Sorenson most recently was executive vice president and CFO of EMI Music Publishing. Before that he was EVP and CFO of BeMusic.
SaveJe’s personnel announcements come shortly after the company announced the first phone running its Java-based operating system. The phone, built by LG Electronics Co. Ltd., is scheduled for commercial availability next year.
