BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Verizon Wireless customers now can view and pay their wireless phone bills online at the Web sites of more than 1,700 U.S. banks, portals, credit unions and brokerage firms, the company announced today.
The service stems from an agreement with CheckFree Corp., an online bill-pay service provider. After enrolling at a participating Web site, Verizon Wireless customers can schedule payments from a bank account or establish monthly payments through their own home-banking services.
Verizon Wireless customers can also pay their bills through the My Account section of the company’s Web site, as well as from their wireless phones, by mail or in stores.
