AskMeNow adds voice response system to info service

IRVINE, Calif.-AskMeNow, which provides access to Internet-based information from mobile devices, launched an interactive voice response system to improve its mobile lifestyle network.

The system allows customers to sign up for the AskMeNow service from their cell phone or mobile device. Users can receive access to automated information about flight times, restaurants, hotels, driving directions, weather, stock quotes, sports and news.

“The integration of the new IVR into the AskMeNow service provides much-anticipated flexibility and functionality to the service,” said Darryl Cohen, AskMeNow’s chief executive officer. “The AskMeNow service will now be even faster and friendlier for our users, thanks to the addition of easily navigated automated templates. AskMeNow continues to answer the demands of today’s on-the-go lifestyle by adding features such as the IVR to enhance our mobile lifestyle network.”
