OTTAWA-SIPquest, a developer of Session Initiation Protocol applications, said its Mobile Console application has been optimized for Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.
The company said the product is the first Voice over Internet Protocol application to be optimized for the new operating system that features dual-mode cellular/Wi-Fi support for smart phones and personal digital assistants.
The company said the application includes a single graphical user interface that allows users to choose whether they want to communicate over Wi-Fi or cellular networks.
