PEARL RIVER, N.Y.—Interactive media company Traffix Inc. launched a strategic mobile marketing business unit called mxFocus.
The company said the new business unit focuses on off-deck marketing, which allows clients to reach customers directly on their wireless device through all major carriers rather than negotiating individual carrier contracts.
Traffix offerings include its Traffix Performance Marketing solution; its Send Traffic performance-focused search engine marketing firm; and its Hot Rocket Marketing online direct-response media firm.
Traffix joins a variety of mobile marketing companies including M-Qube, Enpocket and others.
