Induslogic acquires application development firm Lambent

VIENNA, Va.—In a move to expand its mobile product development expertise, Induslogic Inc., which provides outsourced product development, said it has agreed to acquire Lambent, a mobile product engineering services company based in Nagpur, India.

Lambent, which was established in 2000, adopted Qualcomm Inc.’s BREW technology and has built a force of 200 employees focused on mobile product engineering services. The company has relationships with Sony Digital, Electronic Arts, iFone and Konami.

“The addition of Lambent’s development teams’ expertise in BREW and J2ME technologies will further accelerate mobile product development, test and porting for our partners,” said Peter Harrison, chief executive officer of Induslogic.

Induslogic said it has partnerships with mobile companies like Gemalto, Par3, Polaris Wireless, Mobile365, SMS.ac and Telecommunication Systems Inc.
