OVERLAND PARK, Kan.—Sprint Nextel Corp. continued to expand its mobile video offerings, adding three channels to its Sprint TV service.
The carrier added “Comedy Time,” a made-for-mobile network that allows users to choose from a variety of stand-up comedy themes, as well as Blip TV, which features comedy shorts from both established and unknown video producers. Sprint Nextel is also targeting 30- and 40-somethings with Saturday Morning TV, a collection of branded animated content including Mr. Magoo, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Dick Tracy and Roger Ramjet.
The new channels are available via the carrier’s CDMA network for $5 each per month.
