IRVINE, Calif.—Boost Mobile L.L.C., a subsidiary of Sprint Nextel Corp., said its prepaid wireless phones and service will be available at Fred Meyer stores.
The company’s products are currently available at Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy locations.
Boost said it is offering three Motorola Inc. phones at Fred Meyer stores for between $50 and $130. All three phones include Boosts’ Walkie-Talkie service, Java-enabled games, picture viewer and multimedia and text messaging functionality.
Boost, which uses Sprint Nextel’s iDEN network, has been a major customer growth engine for the carrier over the past several quarters including more than 500,000 net customer additions during the first quarter of this year.
