INDEPENDENCE, Ohio—Regional operator Revol Wireless has introduced a new suite of data applications to its users that includes ringtones, games, 411 directory assistance and Web browsing.
Privately held Revol offers service in five Ohio cities and Indianapolis, Ind. with no contract for $47 per month. The flat-rate plans include unlimited local and long-distance calling within its service areas.
The carrier also recently introduced new price plan options at $37 and $57 per month. The $57 per month plan includes unlimited Web browsing, picture and text messaging and the $37 plans offers just unlimited local calling.
Revol also offers a la carte plans, such as unlimited directory assistance for $3 per month and unlimited Web browsing for $5 per month. Revol said that its users can go anywhere on the mobile Web, and its directory assistance includes information provided both over the phone and by text message to the user.
