CHICAGO—U.S. Cellular Corp. and its parent company, Telephone and Data Systems Inc., have received an extension until Nov. 14 to file their year-end reports and first- and second-quarter financial results in order to regain compliance with the listing standards of the American Stock Exchange.
The companies also announced that they had received extensions from their lenders.
The extension is the latest in a series that began when the two companies announced last November that they would do a series of financial statements dating back to 2000. The restatements needed to be finished first, and the companies filed them in April. Now, the two carriers are catching up on the yearly and quarterly filings that were delayed by the restatements.
