CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—The global wireless market has experienced strong growth during the past five years, according to a study from Pyramid Research.
The consulting firm’s latest Analyst Insight report said mobile global subscribers have grown at a 15-percent compound annual growth rate and global mobile revenues have grown at an 18-percent CAGR. Wireless revenues now exceed $667 billion, said the study.
In addition, despite a trend of consolidation among carriers, there has been an overall increase in the average number of national operators, said the report.
