Sprint Nextel knows what’s good for it, to offer Mr. T content

NEW YORK-In a move showing the true maturation of wireless services, Sprint Nextel Corp. will begin offering access to content based on TV Land’s new self-help series “I Pity the Fool” starring movie and television legend Lawrence Tureaud, aka Mr. T.

The Sprint Nextel offering will include special access for subscribers to “Rules for Fools” as well as highlights from upcoming episodes from the series. The content will be available through channel 24 of the Sprint TV offering.

The legend, who despite his birth name claims his first name is in fact “Mr.” and last name is “T,” will use the TV series to “change people’s lives by dispensing his own brand of advice in classic T-style in every city with fools to pity.” Classic! Mr. T, maybe best known as B.A. Baracus from The A-Team and the Mickey Goldmill-killer, Rocky Balboa-butt kicker Clubber Lang in Rocky III, plans to be the “No. 1 Jibba Jabba Attacka.”
