SUNNYVALE, Calif.-In response to customer complaints about glitches in text messaging service from Treo 700wx devices running on Sprint Nextel Corp.’s network, Palm Inc. has issued a software upgrade that is available for over-the-air or desktop downloading.
Sprint Nextel customers using the Treo 700wx had complained that their messages weren’t arriving as intended, were scrambled or received in duplicate.
The new patch is available at http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/spnt700wxSMS/index.html
The patch is intended for the Treo 700wx only.
