RadioShack announced it will sell Sprint Nextel Corp.’s youth-focused brand Boost Mobile through 672 retail stores. RadioShack joins Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy in selling the iDEN-based offering.
“We are extremely pleased to partner with Boost Mobile, and are excited about giving wireless users this new option,” said Tom Quan, RadioShack’s vice president of merchandising for wireless. “RadioShack’s team of knowledgeable salespeople has an unparalleled understanding of wireless products and can help customers get the most out of wireless technology. That is the main reason why we are consistently ranked by third-party groups as being No. 1in wireless customer satisfaction.”
RadioShack sells service from Sprint Nextel and Cingular Wireless L.L.C. The company stopped selling Verizon Wireless service last year.
