Verizon Wireless cellular retailer Wireless Zone is restructuring its management team as the company focuses on expanding its 270 locations to 400 by mid-2008.
The company named David Staszewski as VP and GM of operations; he will be responsible for all operations, sales and corporate-wide customer service. Susan Suhr continues to manage Wireless Zone’s legal and administrative affairs, but also will assume direct responsibility for internal and external training for field personnel in new and existing stores as executive VP and chief administrative officer. The company also has named Mark Asnes as executive VP and COO.
“To ensure the success of our Focus400 program, we needed to expand our senior management team,” said Kevin Sinclair, president and CEO of the company. Sinclair had earlier been named CEO as part of the expansion plans.
Wireless Zone is an exclusive Verizon Wireless retailer and operates in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions as well as in Florida. It is in the process of extending its operations into the Midwest as well as expanding its presence in Florida and the Northeast.
