Mobile phone service Buzzwire launched its beta service, the company announced. The company lets users create a lineup of video and audio feeds from local, national, international news, traffic, weather, sports and entertainment to play on their mobile phones.
Buzzwire is part of a new crop of companies that deliver Internet TV programming to mobile phones.
Buzzwire is backed by Matrix Partners and Spark Capital. The company plans a formal launch with cellular carriers for the fall.
