Prostitution gets mobile
Tougher anti-prostitution laws in South Korea have prompted an increase in usage of the Internet and mobile phones to buy sex, according to an Associated Press report. The state-run Korea Internet Safety Commission said it has received reports of more than 11,700 Web sites and mobile-phone content operators that were engaged in arranging prostitution as of June, more than four-times as many as were reported in 2005.

Pitching Red Dwarf
Fans of the cult sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf are being treated to mobisodes of the show available on their mobile phone through mobile entertainment company Pitch. The episodes, available for a weekly subscription fee, will include classic moments from the show. Pitch is available in Europe, Malaysia and Singapore.
