AT&T Mobility is spreading the holiday spirit by opening its stores earlier and keeping them open later on the days before and after Christmas.
The company said that shoppers should check with local stores, but that most of its 1,800 retail stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve (some will stay open later) and then will re-open for business on Dec. 26-with some flinging wide the doors as early as 7 a.m. and closing as late as 9 p.m. to accommodate customers who are looking for that perfect case, memory card or headset to go with the wireless device they opened Christmas morning.
“Many will be looking for new accessories for their new handsets the day after Christmas,” said Paul Roth, president of sales and marketing for AT&T Mobility. “We’re opening our doors early in as many locations as possible and adding extra staff to accommodate the needs of these customers.”
