Venture capital financing wrap-up: Ad Infuse, LiveVox, United Mobile and more

The following list includes venture capital and other investments into wireless companies announced during the past week. The value of the investment is included when available.

Ad Infuse: Softbank Capital led a $12 million round of funding into mobile advertising company Ad Infuse. Existing investors ComVentures and Storm Ventures also participated. Mike Perlis of Softbank Capital joins the company’s board of directors as part of the funding. Ad Infuse is headquartered in San Francisco.

GoldSpot Media: Exa Ventures invested $3 million in a Series A funding round into GoldSpot Media, which provides ad-insertion services for mobile broadcast TV. GoldSpot Media is headquartered in Sunnyvale, Calif.

IMMI: Kantar Media Research led a $25 million Series C funding round into Integrated Media Measurement Inc., which provides a media measurement system. Jeff Krentz, Kantar’s executive VP of corporate development and strategy, joins the company’s board of directors in connection with the financing. Existing investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Advanced Technology Ventures also participated in the funding round. IMMI is based in San Mateo, Calif.

Ip.access: Cisco made an investment of an undisclosed amount into ip.access, which makes femtocell and picocell solutions.

LiveVox: R&D Bauer Ventures led a $5 million round of funding into on-demand voice portal company LiveVox. The Series F round of funding also included participation from previous investors Bluefish Ventures, Lunsford Capital and individual investors. The funding will be used to support continued development of LiveVox’s on-demand, hosted voice portal solution through market awareness campaigns, sales channel development and expanded engineering, said the company.

Mig33: DCM led a $13.5 million round of funding into mig33, a global mobile social networking company. The Series B funding also included participation from existing investors Accel, Redpoint and TVP. Mig33 said it will use the funding to continue its expansion worldwide.

Modiv Media: Ignition Partners, Oak Investment Partners and SeaPoint Ventures invested $8 million into Modiv Media, formerly MobileLime, a Boston-based company focused on retail interactive media delivery solutions. The company said it will use the funding to accelerate technology development, expand its retail footprint, increase its professional service offerings and grow its staff with new executive appointments.

ShoZu: SEB Venture Capital led a $12 million Series C funding into London-based ShoZu, a mobile social media services company that specializes in facilitating the exchange of content between mobile devices. Existing investors Atlas Venture, Crescendo Ventures and TTP Ventures also participated in the funding round.

United Mobile: Accel Partners and Grazia Equity invested $15 million into United Mobile, a low-cost roaming mobile operator. The Swiss company offers international travelers prepaid SIM cards that provide voice and data services at low rates worldwide.
