—Apprion: Motorola Ventures made an investment of an undisclosed amount into Apprion Inc., which provides open industrial wireless networks and applications. The investment completes the company’s existing Series B round of funding that was led by Anvil Investment Associates.
—mFoundry: Banc of America Strategic Investments Corp. made a strategic investment in mobile financial technology company mFoundry. Banc of America joins existing strategic investors Motorola, PayPal and NCR, and venture investors GRP Partners, Ignition Partners and Apax Partners. mFoundry is based in San Francisco.
