Telegent Systems – Drs. Samuel Sheng and Weijie Yun, CEO and executive chairman of the board, respectively, have been awarded the HYSTA (Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association) 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year award. The HYSTA board of directors selected and presented the award on October 4 in Santa Clara, CA.
MoboVivo Inc – Alex Gault has been chosen to serve as VP, Marketing for the software company. Prior to joining MoboVivo, Gault was the Director of Marketing and Community Development for Minekey.
Chyngle – A panel of judges awarded Chyngle, a mobile applications provider, with the Champion award at CTIA Fund Fest. CTIA Fund Fest was held October 9, 2009 at International CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2009.
WICT – Maria Brennan has been appointed CEO and President of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). Additionally, Brennan is the current President of American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT).
