Ericsson – Cesare Avenia has been chosen to oversee the execution of Ericsson’s new brand strategy as Chief Brand Officer. Avenia, who joined Ericsson in 1994, is currently Head of Market Unit South East Europe.
YTL Communications Sdn Bhd – Ali Tabassi has been appointed director of the board. Tabassi is Clearwire’s Senior VP of Global Ecosystem and Standards. He has been involved in the telecommunications, IP and networking industries for over 20 years.
Brightpoint – Anurag Gupta has been named President of the company’s EMEA division, effective Jan. 1, 2010. Gupta is presently Brightpoint’s Senior VP, Global Strategy, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications.
