United States: General Dynamics Information Technology won a $322 million contract with the U.S. Army to provide initial outfitting and transitional support for the newly built Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Virginia, and the recently revamped Walter Reed National Military Center in Bethesda, Md.
Sweden: Huawei has been selected by Tele2 and Telenor’s joint venture, Net4Mobility, to deploy Sweden’s first nationwide 4G network. Huawei will also act as the modem vendor for the new network.
