In days where it seems everyone is talking about extreme wireless data traffic growth, Proxim Wireless, one of North America’s most well-known microwave radio vendors, says it’s providing end-to-end broadband wireless systems which deliver the quadruple play of voice, video, data and mobility without clogging the pipes, so to speak.
Proxim’s systems, which purportedly provide sizeable increases in bandwidth, also enable a variety of wireless applications including security and surveillance, VoIP, last mile access, enterprise LAN connectivity and Point-to-Point backhaul.
The firm says it has shipped over 1.8 million wireless devices to more than 235,000 customers in over 65 countries worldwide. We talk to Robb Henshaw, Vice President of Marketing & Channels at Proxim about the firm’s progress and future plans.
